  • Discover most common workplace biases and the impacts on decision-making, resource allocation, policy development, social interactions, employment, service delivery and programs, purchasing and procurement, and stakeholder engagement

Systems Thinking

  • Understand how to apply systems thinking for addressing complex and recurring Racial Equity challenges
  • Identify how complex workplace problems self-perpetuate due to not anticipating unintended consequences of short-term solutions, and well-intentioned policies and practices  
  • Explore systemic strategies and root cause remedies to identify and remove barriers to sustain an environment of fairness and equal opportunity 


Equal Opportunity SWOT Analysis

  • Identify and evaluate department policies and practices that advance or impede equal opportunity to help prevent and reduce disparities, and ensure equal opportunity for all stakeholders
  • Practical application for developing a department specific stakeholder Equal Opportunity SWOT analysis 


Data-Driven Metrics for Measuring, Monitoring & Managing Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination

  • Identify best practices for developing equity scorecards, metrics and indicators and understand what to measure and how to measure Equal Opportunity 
  • Analyze Anti-Discrimination action plans and identify what makes a plan effective and ineffective
  • Implementation strategies and sustaining the momentum
  • Leading change, managing challenges and why equal opportunity and anti-discrimination fails within organizations
