Bird Guess is the President and Founder of the Center for Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity. He brings over a decade of expertise in conducting equal opportunity and civil rights audits, advising executives on policy for employment and procurement, designing, and delivering training, integrating equal opportunity into organizational policies and practices, and ultimately making equal opportunity and anti-discrimination standard operating procedure. Bird has worked with the U.S. House of Representatives, the Massachusetts Municipal Association, University of Virginia, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and many other public and private sector organizations. He is also the CEO of the management consulting firm, the Racial Equity Group, and the best-selling author of Lead Like Water: Many Can Manage, Few Can Lead. He is expected to release his fifth book titled, Bigger than Racism, in 2025.
