Our consultants will work with your executive team to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses utilizing the following approaches:

Disparity Analysis: a disparity analysis is a process of analyzing demographic group data to identify significant disparities, or “inequities.” This approach included performing statistical analyses to benchmark the City’s representation of demographic groups within employment, procurement, service delivery, and boards and committees, against validated benchmarks and evidenced-based best practices.

Barrier Analysis: a barrier analysis is a process that involves reviewing organizational policies and practices to investigate if barriers exist that may be unintentionally influencing or contributing to any inequities. Relevant data and materials will be reviewed and analyzed to uncover potential barriers.

We will analyze four equal opportunity domains, where disparities are typically produced and sustained, often unintentionally by public and private sector organizations:

Employment (recruitment, hiring, promotions, retention)

Service Delivery and Programs (access, quality, treatment)

Purchasing and Procurement

Stakeholder and Community Engagement (board/committee representation)
